I've been playing with software @c3pb made for their giant 24x2 Geascript-38 panel that mesmerized me at #39c3. Normally, you'd only need 35 segments (5x7) for decent text, so 38 must be plenty! Currently, the display can show little more than uppercase letters, numbers and abstract animation... https://git.c3pb.de/c3pb/GeavisionReverse/-/blob/master/Bilder/Geavision.jpg – maybe @thefeiter can help me add more?

Interested at making your own character designs ("mappings")? Try it online: https://chaoticneutralczech.github.io/myRandomImages/mapping.html#1011001101111011110000011100111101101111_l It's really unintuitive what can be done and what can't! For example, the simple sans-serif "g" is more difficult to fit readably in the usual lowercase height than the ornate one!
