Hospice care is a blessing. (My brother in law's mom has entered care for late-stage cancer.) Gisela's room has a view of the lake, I'm told. And pain management is a gift for sure. Klaus is able to be there with her for a time, but given the state of international travel, neither grandkid can go. Hard to say goodbye over the telephone. So these are the things that happen in life: some good, some bad, all part of who we are. Today I'm a little bit sad. That too is part of who we are
