Two quotes that I'm reminded of reading testimonials about AI-fueled increases in code volume without regard to outcomes:
Drucker: "There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently something that should not have been done at all"

@alpha good old "No code is faster than no code". Reminds me of the secondary Tumblr stream back at Simply Measured. What was requested? A near copy of the production infrastructure with all the servers, bells, and whistles. What did I actually implement to solve it? I just piped the backup stream to a log file and told Linux to log rotate every day. 30 lines of code and config, but ask Claude and it would have happily written hundreds of lines of Java/Ruby for me ....
