Can anyone explain this to me so I don't feel like I am running a command that has Microsoft shouting our private data across the internet on its way to me?
TrueNAS Cloud Sync task, it pulls (PULL) from Microsoft OneDrive, and is actually pulling a document library. I have all of this working except that when I run the task with the "Remote Encryption" checkbox turned on, it fails.
I expect that's because this isn't files that were encrypted and uploaded, I am just pulling a copy of the SharePoint directory down so we have a local copy.
My issue is that I want to ensure that when these files are being downloaded, that they aren't traveling unencrypted.
I expect that rclone (that TrueNAS uses as its backend) is using an encrypted channel, such as sftp, to get the data, but I can't find it anywhere to confirm.
Is rclone's download from Microsoft SharePoint coming down over a secure channel?
