A fellow engineer in our Creative Community is currently Battling EMI on a compact, high-frequency board and needs your help! 😅
Since this isn't exactly our main specialisation, we are calling on your collective brainpower. They are asking for advice on board-level shielding, the true impact of ground planes, and how to balance cost vs performance.
Got the answers? Jump into the thread and help a peer out: https://community.aisler.net/t/board-level-shielding-techniques-for-reducing-emi-in-pcb-design/5575
Or answer here & I'll forward 🧡

@aislerhq Strange presentation. If the project does not permit showing snippets or making example designs then probably paying for consulting is a non-issue. As for approaching the subject, I find it helpful to conceive a shielding challenge as, inversely, "how to make a bad antenna". This is also accessible via simulation, either by looking at the far field, or extracting emissions through multiple ports in the simulation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWPC2ud1rXo
