Fire Force transitioning so smoothly into Soul Eater was not something I was expecting, and it made me quite happy for some reason. I was certain they would do the lazy kind of ending where interpretation is up to the viewer and a lot is left unresolved. But no, they showed how the world came to be, the Shinigami being willed into existence, the main cast from Soul Eater as kids. It was very satisfying.
