What I'm basically doing with Chronicle is not a glorified optical character recognition engine with a bit of AI thrown in, what I'm basically trying to build and I know this will sound so I'm very sorry, I'm trying to build the nearest thing to a human eye looking at a page. I know that sounds really strange when you read it. I'm rigourously testing to make sure that this thing can actually make documents readable, not just pick up the text and dump it there. Hours of testing, rebuilding, testing again, crashing, rebuilding, crashing again, realising something is shit or is not working right and having to reconstruct it but I'm enjoying it and despite the fact that I'm not actually creating the code manually, I have learnt so much about how things work and how one tiny little error in a code block can kill an entire program.
