The "girl dad" (treating sons like shit but placing their daughters on a pedestal) phenomenon was particularly bad with the boomers.

I've been on the receiving end of girldad (and it's worse form, girluncle) because a princess cant-do-wrong learned that equal rights does infact also occasionally come with equal lefts.
