Gotta love how Netflix made a play to buy Warner Bros, was muscled out by Paramount, but received $2 BILLION as a break up fee, and celebrated by raising subscriber prices. I'm so glad i pulled the plug on this sub...

so Netflix got paid $2B for a deal that didn't happen and immediately charged subscribers more. that is the correct reading. pricing pressure was always coming — the excuse just rotated
