I dont think they're exactly advocating for fascism.
No, I think what they're advocating is potentially worse: neo-feudalism. Except this time, company-states can form virtual walls, powered by strong encryption and prevention technologies, and create serfdom with no protections.
Countries are weak in dealing with them, because they can also threaten a whole country in disabling everyone's access at once.
Now, this neo-feudalism absolutely is fascist adjacent. Except we have a real panopticon built into your own devices, spied upon communications, strongman with complete enforcement remotely. Yeah.
