Since launching #vmstio :vmstio: subscriptions in 2022, we’ve used Patreon, Ko-Fi, and (briefly) Open Collective. Managing multiple platforms has made automating supporter benefits harder to deliver reliably. To simplify, we’re shifting focus to Ko-Fi for monthly subscriptions, where support is already 3:1 over Patreon and fees are much much lower. (Patreon eats almost 25% of our lowest tier.) As of April 1, no new Patreon subscriptions will be accepted.
