quick thoughts on - the "wordpress-successor" #emdash released yesterday by cloudflare ( https://blog.cloudflare.com/emdash-wordpress/ ):
• As a wordpress/astro designer/dev this is of great interest
• Looks like loads of proprietary cloudflare (US big-tech company 🙄) requirements
• Although it does say node.js and sqlite support (great!)
• Interesting x402.org integration (finally micropayments!)
• The backend feels great and snappy, and I'd love to build my wp themes in astro… (1/2)

• I'll give it a couple of years to see if it gets abandoned or if wp plugin devs migrate over • Insanely stupid to launch on april 1st, no one in my networks (inc me!) boosted it as they didn't want to look an april fool • I assumed it was april fool joke riffing on the next/vinext fiasco) Still! Exciting to see CMS innovation! #wordpress #webdev (2/2)
