Today I learned there is a thing called a transient ischemic attack (TIA). It’s like a stroke but less. A teaser stroke if you will. A warning shot across the bow. My dad’s better. Or at least he’s using actual words and mostly understanding things people say to him. He realized his hearing aid batteries were dead and knew he had some in his jacket pocket. That seems good. Brains and bodies are so weird.
