I built a project in Bitwig where I route my bass guitar through OOOO: an impressive looper plugin. Then I use the Stepper MIDI device to play the recorded loops, starting from random spots in the loop, with random note lengths. Playback occurs at same speed, at a quarter note below, and an octave below the original sample frequency. Playing into this setup leads to a mesmerizing, constantly evolving, dreamy soundscape that I can't get enough of. Check out OOOO here: https://oooo.audio/
