WOMAN! vs! CAT! Which one will survive‽
MAN! vs! GRAVE! But the gravediggers don't even get to be funny.
MANSERVANT! vs! PLOT! Narrate the entire goddamned story. Why bother showing anything?
What I wanna know is, how did he preserve Ligeia so well? A mummy would be reasonable with his skills. Freud said every man wants to fuck his mummy (I'm not sorry).
Cat tried to drag away the movie, but it just won't go.

The cat fight reminds me of X-Files' "Teso Dos Bichos", the worst ep ever. So, the one good gag is the Samantha/Serena doubling from Bewitched, a brunette or blonde wig makes your good girl turn bad. Ha ha. But we don't see Ligeia enough for it to work. ★★☆☆☆ for the abbey set. Pity they didn't make a movie with it. #monsterdon #tombOfLigeia1964
