Crossing the Welsh border hardly registers as an event in my head, yet crossing the Scottish border is worth pointing at the sign and shouting SCOTLAND every time. (with a terrible impression of an accent of course.)

@caius Wales only gets an 'assembly' instead of a parliament, and they don't even have their own money! (In their defence, their language is actually meaningfully used compared to Scots Gaelic, so there's that.)

@caius I ribbed my mum for years about the time she slipped back into a Glaswegian accent halfway through a sentence as we crossed the border.
