Το 2014, η Αθήνα είχε περίπου 7800 κλίνες τύπου Airbnb σε 2209 καταλύματα. Το 2023, ο αριθμός αυτός είχε αυξηθεί σε 67950 κλίνες σε 18454 καταλύματα (αύξηση 770% στη χωρητικότητα). Την ίδια περίοδο, οι κλίνες των ξενοδοχείων αυξήθηκαν από 26920 σε 34844, ή περίπου 30%.

@afouxenidis@mastodon.world That seems like a real problem. The total number of accommodations doesn’t seem staggering, but the types of accommodations are probably concentrated in a way to have disproportionate effects. I wonder what it would take a place like Athens to have permitted a similar number of hotel beds and what impact would that have had on the number of available units for residents?
