Hey Sailors, I've mixed feelings about OpenRepos. What are yours? I believe the average user should *not* use it, but I see why we need it. All my apps are published to OpenRepos, but I want to change this. Harbour is the first choice and then I publish to Chum to allow community ports to get them. My OpenRepos repo should list only those app that don't fit Chum. #SailfishOS

As a result, these apps are no more available in OpenRepos: SailHN, Papocchio, ShakeTorch and MPW (now named Spectre). However, latest version is available in Chum and soon on Harbour (except ShakeTorch since it provides a plugin).

@ilpianista I agree. OpenRepos had an important role, but now I would prefer it to be phased out with Harbour and Chum being the two options.

@ilpianista Fully agree, sadly some of the most usefull apps are only there. It is nice to use for betatesting though.

@ilpianista Chum GUI does lack a "what's new" feature, which Open Repos / Storeman does have. That hurts discoverability of new apps.

@ilpianista I do agree, though they all have their place. I can't put Quickddit on Chum because it needs to be built with a secret (API key), and if it still broke the harbour rules I could only put it on Openrepos. I thought community ports got Harbour access though? Chum exists for apps that can't abide by all the restrictions of the harbour.

@ilpianista I agree. With Whisperfish, I would like to move to a faster-pace rollout on Chum + less frequent releases on the Store, with OR being the fallback if Chum/Habour are too restrictive for certain "experimental" features.
