This week I paired synchronously with a skilled coworker while he worked through a complex Azure upgrade using Claude Code for a site we’re taking from Craft 3 -> 5. I did the XP big picture pairing work of rubber ducking and watching for hallucinations and he did the high skill work with deep institutional and practical knowledge of working through the steps. It worked. We un-silo’d from the all too common pattern of a dev and Claude going down wrong paths. Pairing is as good as ever.
