Night owl thoughts: Most people aren't reacting to the person we are today. They are reacting to the last version of us they remember, whether that version is current or not. It can take days, weeks, months, or even years for someone to update the snapshot some people have of us. Until then, they continue to respond to versions of us which are frozen in time.
