faith in military check: 1. I don&#39;t believe at all that the US is doing any kind of active Hannibal Doctrine in Iran. 0% chance of that. We&#39;re better than that. If pilot can&#39;t be extracted and gets rolled up, USAF are not going to kill him to prevent a hostage situation. This is not even to say that we&#39;re without sin, or won&#39;t engage in some extreme tactics to retrieve the pilot. We just absolutely won&#39;t do this. SERE and POW/MIA culture are too big in the military and especially with pilots, for one. 2. I think we can still get the pilot out. CSAR are very good.

meanwhile, MAGA faith in military check: the purged generals are NO KIDDING TRAITORS that deliberately fed US aircraft into Iranian AD, and Trump knew. Trump knew those planes were doomed, and let those planes get shot down so that he could purge the generals. Yep, the only reason we lost any aircraft is that we had traitors. The power of 4d chess is such that Trump knew everything in advance, even who the traitors were and how they were committing the treason, but he could not act to save the pilots. This is some kind of drug-addict's relationship with the truth. I really don't believe that anyone believes this, but they're spreading it because it triggers a desired set of hormones for a moment.
