Excellent blog post: "It is 100% OK to wait and see if something is actually useful." by @Edent. If you get into something from the beginning on because of curiosity, that's a great motivation! But being an “early adopter” for the sake of being one isn't beneficial, nor is the fear of missing out or “being left behind of something".
