@onokoto@mastodon.social 100%, using a buffer as a unified interface between packages and having everything written in a single dynamically scoped language is so powerful, that other "customizable" editors look like a joke. I remember trying out Atom, back in 2014 after hearing about its customizablity. Coming from emacs I was sorely disappointed.
