If you’re in the PNW, you should probably start clearing the area around your house of any kind of flammable material. It’s going to be a crazy fire season. I moved here three years ago, to escape the fires of Northern California which decimated communities. Trees and shrubs are a real liability if they are close to your home. The houses that survive are ones without any landscaping touching or even within six feet of the structure. You probably want to stock up on air purifiers and filters now, too.
