WordPress 7.0 is introducing automatic importing of #AltText from embedded image metadata. When the release arrives in April, WordPress will read IPTC accessibility fields such as Alt Text (Accessibility) and #ExtendedDescription (Accessibility) directly from uploaded images. https://home.camerabits.com/alt-text-metadata-is-coming-to-wordpress-7/ That’s great great news!
