I kinda wanna get rid of systemd, fx. based on its uncritical support for age verification and its support for AI. Recently I've been hearing about openrc, s6, gardenhouse and runit. I've also considered trying out Artix, being quite familiar with Arch. Unrelated I was considering NixOS, but apparently it's very systemd dependent. I used to use sysvinit, so not having systemd is not unfamiliar, but I would like to avoid having to maintain my own scripts for everything. Any recommendations?
