If you've been to Nelson, Nevada, you've seen this piano sitting out in the desert. If not, look up Nelson. It's an old mining ghost town with a gazillion old cars, buses, junk galore, and relics from the silver-mining days in Nevada. Mine shafts, an old chapel. Movies have been filmed there; it's a treasure trove for photographers. Worth the trip, not far from Vegas. If you drive down along the canyon from Nelson, there's a beautiful view of the water and Arizona on the other side. I love the various weird finds in the desert southwest. #piano #desert #west #nevada #roadTripFinds #road #ghosttown #mining #attractions #Nelson #treasures #authorLife #author #indieAuthors #authors #writersCoffeeClub #writers #writer

@sophiajanehayden_author@indieauthors.social I thought this is exactly the sort of place that Atlas Obscura would write about, and I was right. They didn't mention a piano, but maybe, it's in the pictures. I'm totally blind, so I have no idea, but here is the article. https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/nelson-ghost-town
