For the German railway nerds : The Förderverein Transrapid Emsland e.V. ( @fv_transrapid ) recently joined the Fediverse !
They take care of the preservation, documentation and education on the history of the :trans: Transrapid technology and the trial setup in Emsland.
Sure, most of us prefer real trains but isn't it amazing to have them over ?
