i have told this story before, but. i did physics with christina koch at university; once while working on an assignment she mentioned wanting to be an astronaut. in my recollection i thought "nobody ever gets to be an astronaut"; i didn't say it tho. anyway hoo boy was i wrong, and an asshole to boot; hopefully the thought did not escape containment
