๐ #USA Sec of Defense Pete Hegseth said he "๐๐จ๐๐ฌ๐ง'๐ญ ๐ค๐ง๐จ๐ฐ" if russia invaded #Ukraine
This is him on Fox News ๐๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ข๐ง๐ russia's invasion of Ukraine
He worked as a Fox News correspondent at the time (talk about qualifications)
๐ค Hegseth on Fox News in March 2022: โWhatโs at stake is repelling an authoritarian [Putin] who basically is saying I want the Soviet Union back, I want Ukraine back, I want Kyiv back.โ
He then went on to say the Biden Administration is moving "too slow" on equipping Ukraine.
๐ค When Hegseth was reporting on Russia's invasion of Ukraine he probably never considered that he'd be SecDef AND have to deny basic historic facts. Yet here we are.
I am flabbergasted by the current US position on the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
What is the point of abandoning allies and cozying up to Putin and Russia?
They have proven time and time again they cannot be trusted.
