...and, unsurprisingly, #FreeBSD does not work on my laptop (a ThinkPad T16 Gen 4 AMD). I was hoping I'd get to the installer but it seems to only freeze at some line. No activity from the flash drive, and no sign that a kernel panic occurred. Eh, that's okay, we'll see how Alpine Linux works out, just for fun! I don't plan to install it (and if I do, it'll be to another flash drive for testing purposes :)
