Heavy influx of weird accounts from even weirder origins, most of them from TOR or other types of Proxy nodes, all with suspicious e-mail addresses and most with plain random bot-coded usernames.
That and a media storage disk that was full (1.5TB, now upgraded to 2TB) slowed down the server a bit.
All fixed now.

The amount of signups from dubious sources with pseudo-randomized e-mail addresses keeps going. Sigh 😞 Some do get creative and post in fairly decent Dutch. Mass posting long stories over multiple Toots triggers the alarm here though - double so if the story seemingly cuts off halfway. And the screenshot of oil prices -in Russian- was their ultimate mistake. Thinking about closing the open registrations.
