Hey fedi, I got another begpost to make, this time for myself. Not something I usually do. My overall living situation isn't (yet) all that precarious. I got a roof over my head. I am unemployed, benefiting from unemployment welfare. This month however, my situation is really dire. I just got my head above the water again after more than a year of being mistreated by an abusive tenant/housemate who'd often not pay rent, misuse the space, ditch responsibilities onto others and avoid their own altogether. Having them go took a 9 month long battle, the second half of it a legal one. The threat of legal proceedings are what got them to finally move out. While I am relieved I don't have to share my space with them, the month-long abuse left me mentally and emotionally drained, and I had to spend all my money, incl. my savings on covering the legal fees to solve this dispute. I suffer from anxiety and depression, with regular attacks. My therapy is currently suspended due to lack of insurance coverage, and I can't afford to pay therapist bills myself. Ideally the goal would be €1000, to cover a significant part of the legal fees, and give me a buffer for groceries and paying the bills €200/€1000 Please boost this for visibility, and please help out if you can.
