Thanks to the kind invitation of the Vice-President Prof. Dr. Iyad Tumar I just gave a lecture and a workshop at the #Birzeit University's department of Computer Science in #Ramallah (capital of #Palestine) on ”Societal data protection in the age of #AI and the digital transformation”. Afterwards I had very interesting exchanges and mutual learnings with the IT students and the staff of the university's IT department. Thanks to everyone who made this possible. 🙏

On that note: Sadly the Israeli military has recently killed two young computer science students in their home village during one of the regular #IDF night raids. This is not uncommon in the worsening situation in the #Westbank. #occupation #reality #Palestine #Israel
