I spilled bacon grease on a favourite shirt. Now I either have to work to get the grease out or... hmmm. Maybe I will get more bacon grease, and apply it to the shirt it in an artful manner. I could then pretend that it was meant to be that way.

@KolokokoBird@social.chinwag.org Sounds familiar, one time my sweetie was helping move a bacon-wrapped turkey from the oven and mixed bacon/turkey grease spilled on her nice leather boots. We now call them alternately her turkey boots or bacon boots. 😂

@KolokokoBird@social.chinwag.org I tried that: Adding oil to an entire shirt to hide an oil spot. It worked, but the shirt was a lot heavier. And it's remarkably hard to get oil to cover a garment uniformly. After that adventure, I just got fabric paint and added cartoon characters or flowers to cover up any stains.

@KolokokoBird@social.chinwag.org “When life gives you lemons, don’t make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad! I don’t want your damn lemons, what the hell am I supposed to do with these? Demand to see life’s manager! Make life rue the day it thought it could give Cave Johnson lemons! Do you know who I am? I’m the man who’s gonna burn your house down! With the lemons! I’m gonna get my engineers to invent a combustible lemon that burns your house down!” — Cave Johnson, founder and CEO of Aperture Science, in Portal 2
