Quite a highlight: we measured a galaxy billions of light years away by combining the signals from the dishes in Bochum and Dwingeloo, in a technique called VLBI. This marks the first time ever that VLBI has been done between these two dishes, and probably the first time that Dwingeloo has done VLBI on S band (2GHz).
