I have been thinking about IT systems and complexity. The systems we have now are very complex and nobody knows how they all work. Then to handle this complexity and many, many layers, it seems to me the usual solution is to add to the complexity by adding more layers and processing. Maybe it'd be good to try to reduce the complexity of systems instead of making them more complex? (Might be just old man yelling at clouds here.) #computers #complexity #ponderings
