It's kind of funny, western journalists are going on about how "The US are now using B-52's" in Iran. Oh, honey, they've been doing that since day 1. I've been watching them fly out of North Dakota and Louisiana on FlightRadar24 for a month. What's happening is they're having to rely on B-52's (and B-1's and B-2's) more and more as they lose refuelling aircraft. Not sure of the totals, but I know of at least 10, confirmed, KC-135 kills, and there's a suggestion it's much higher from leaks and Iranian commentary. Without refuellers, strike aircraft, especially F-35's in a strike configuration, would never reach Tehran and return. So the US has had to fall back on strategic bombers #USpol #Israel #Iran
