Here is an excerpt from The Night Plummer & The Mockemortician A plump waterfowl sashayed over to B'Link, shaking its rump while staring at her fish with covetous eyes. "Go away, it's not for you," B'Link said, but she left a tiny bite on the leaf when she stood up to leave. The fowl lunged at it, but from above another bird dropped whatever it had been carrying in its mouth and swooped in to steal the bit of fish. The fowl made a hideous screech full of indignation, disappointment, and rage. The startled larger bird dropped the fish and flew away. The waterfowl snatched up the fish and flapped its wings in what might have been a victory dance before waddling back to the river and swimming off. #ScribesAndMakers
