By breaking up some of a big task into smaller, easier pieces that newcomers could handle, her group got a lot of new participants who all learned something. She said that even if an LLM could have done those tasks, she wouldn’t have wanted that, because then nobody would have learned anything, and those people wouldn’t have joined the group.
