As we are entering another year I am planning to renew some of the software I
am operating on. Since you might as well run on older hardware because
„AI” bros are vacuuming up all the consumer electronics I figured to write down
my steps.

Why Qtile?
I’m running on AwesomeWM for a looong time by now. Even so much so that I
became a co-maintainer of some plugins.

@RyunoKi You might want to try the upstream version 0.34.1. They shipped a new Wayland backend written in C (because it was easier to maintain since it uses wlroots).
