@tauon@possum.city it's insane to me that parental controls exist at all if you want to know what your child is doing, maybe try being a parent, talking to them, and earning their trust. then, your kid might voluntarily tell you what they're doing, where they're going, and who are their friends fortunately this never affected me as smol sel knew how to use ubuntu (only the gui tho) in the 4th grade

@tauon was location tracked and had to request my mom for apps until i was 16, which soon straight after got me into sideloading social media disguised as system apps they do it for control and no other reason and no 16 isnt basically an adult and i wouldnt even class 18 as one either but 16yos are definitely not stupid and ill tell you that from experience
