I don't think anyone I know here is active in gamedev, but just in case, you might want to jump on this job post. (Or share it with any gamedev folks you know!) This project is trying to do a few ambitious things, not least of all is come up with something better than git, natively integrated into the creative workflow inside a game engine.     @spiralganglion This sounds interesting. How do they diff/patch non-text stuff though? Like, there's nothing fundamental about git that makes it bad for binaries. It's just that the diff/patch tools don't really work. (And thankfully the commits don't store diffs/patches, they store snapshots, so if you plug in a new diff tool you can use it on your old commits.) So I'm curious how they plan to be "better than git" there. A version control GUI in the editor sounds cool though!
