Open Source + AI = an amazing combination! Here’s an example from today. I recently bought two YubiKey devices. After installing Yubico Authenticator, it turned out the accessibility is… so-so. You can get some things done, but it’s definitely not comfortable to use. It turns out the app’s source code is available on GitHub. I downloaded it, let Codex loose on it, and within an hour it had fixed the most important issues — and now it’s working on the smaller ones. Of course, I’ll share the results of this work with the maintainers in the form of a PR so others can benefit too. So go ahead and keep hating on AI if you want — I’d rather build things. :)
