I run my own instance so there ain't nobody can ban me for saying whatever I want. I recommend running a Fediverse instance. It's extremely easy and you can do it reliably for $240 a year or so. Costs about that much to have enough headroom in even a single person instance. That's been my experience running Pleroma for years. Any less and you'll be spending time you could be spending earning more money instead. Always choose a slightly more expensive option to save time, every time.
