All good points, most of which is to be expected. That being said, I am glad this type of stuff exists. If I ever get the time and money I absolutely want to try building a plane. There is something magical about putting together a complex piece of engineering and then being able to use it. It's such a shame we are living in decaying age, in a better time we would introducing this stuff our kids to get them in to aerospace engineering. This type of stuff is what produces the type of public consciousness that gave us commercial flight and advanced rocketry in the first place.
