I literally pointed them to basic open-source market statistics they could see on any real estate site, and they flat-out denied it...telling me it was all fake, and there 'to trick gullible young folks into paying more than what the homes are really worth'! I replied with "You know what? You're totally right. I am glad you are beginning to see what your generation's wealth is actually funded by!"
