I made a tote bag! it took about 5 hours starting from tracing a pattern from an existing bag.
I have learned:
- reversible lining was probably overkill
- topstitching is annoying, especially over large distances
- definitely attach the handles after instead of trying to be clever and nesting them between the sides
- wow things use a lot of fabric

@anglemaece@toot.cat looks great! after 15 years of sewing i still can't believe the amount of fabric some things consume. ive been looking at costume-y patterns lately and some of them have yardage in the double digits, it's wild
