ReactOS is windows. Here’s their front page blurb: “Imagine running your favorite Windows applications and drivers in an open-source environment you can trust. That’s the mission of ReactOS!” It’s not Linux, specifically. Its not Linux under the hood, it’s written to be windows without microsoft. Haven’t tried it myself, but its definitely worth a try if you’ve been using Linux that long and its just not for you.
