@harblinger@wizard.casa Think I'm gonna just make my own tiny circuit board with a hall effect sensor. Throw like an ardruino tiny chip on a board with the sensor and when the field changes a bunch because the magnet on a string is moving around inside the pipe I know water if flowing. Maybe add a trim pot to adjust sensitivity and an rgb led.

could probably just use some kind of math so you could just use ESP32s and adjust sensitivity from your dashboard, like some kind of rolling integral function, idk math though so I'd just ask the robot brain

sorry for the blast of replies lol, but hall effect sensor stuff is giving me flashbacks to when I was trying to use one -> ADC on an ATTiny10 (because the digital ones were expensive...) and I was doing some crazy opamp pre-conditioning so the ADC would see 0-Vcc for field strength instead pretty sure it's this one, because I was just going for the cheapest and that's why it was worth it to add an opamp and all the passives: still cheaper than a digital one: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/honeywell-sensing-and-productivity-solutions/SS39ET/2839676 .... all for a demon core toy that I never made more than 1 of in the end
